22-Year-Old Arms Dealer Arrested in Miami

You have got to be kidding me. How does this man get a $300 million dollar contract from the Pentagon and then sell them rotting ammo? Aren't enough of our boys dying over there without them being sabotaged by their own government?

This whole war thing is ridiculous anyway, why are we in other peoples' countries fighting their wars with all that's going on in our own country? Why are we spending trillions of dollars to fight a war that we shouldn't have become involved in? It's already been shown that Bush lied about the reasons for getting us over there in the first place, why does Congress keep allowing all that money to be spent and all those lives lost?

Those trillions of dollars could be put to much better use here in America; think of the problems it would solve! I believe that kind of money put into our own economy would solve homelessness, unemployment, the whole mortgage issue that's going on now, and who-knows-what else. Here they are paying a 22 year old con man $300 million for bullets that aren't any good to fight a war we shouldn't have been in, instead of putting foods in the mouthes of hungry children right here in the United States. Where are the priorities in this government? No wonder some people are fighting to find something in this country they can be proud of.....

Call me stupid, but how the hell do you entrust someone who is only 22 years old with that power. I lost faith in our government doing what is best for our people many moons ago. Have you ever seen the movie The Zeitgeist? The first 5 minutes are slow, but than it gets fascinating and very scary.. Please watch it and tell me what you think...You have a good eye for newsworthy stories...

Why wasn't more investigation done into who they were buying from? I could see some Miami hoodlum being taken in, but the US GOVERNMENT? Come on, give me a break! Someone probably had his hand in the cookie jar, making some money off the deal, and when someone higher up realized what was going on and threatened to tell, the arms dealer was thrown to the wolves. I wouldn't put it past them.

I've never seen that movie Lori; what's it about? Where can I find it?

Google it...and the link will come up to watch it...I will try to send it to you.. It is about just how much control the government or the "powers that be" actually do have over our little insignificant lives, scarily so...it shows it thru history, and current events, and what potentially might be our future. I was pretty shaken after I watched it..

We have allowed ourselves to become a society that doesn't ask questions. Our schools, our homes, our government, the media, our places of worship, our workplaces and our military all discourage people from asking questions.

We've become what I call the American Idol generation. We would rather be entertained than informed. This how enough people voted for Bush to allow him to steal two national elections.

It's time to stop listening to the pundits and the politicians and the corn syrup-laced bullcrap they constantly feed us. It's time to start thinking for ourselves. It's time to question everything we are told, no matter what it is or who said it.

You're surprised about a 22-year old arms dealer? Erik Prince, the sole owner of Blackwater Worldwide, the mercenary organization in Iraq, was only 33 when this war started.
